I recently attended the Brooklyn Museum’s Killer Shoe Exhibit. The exhibit was a fascinating display all types of shoes with height from different parts of the world. The history of elevated shoes goes far in history, with silk wedges from China and geta sandals from Japan. I’m a typical woman, so I do own several pairs of heels. But as I get older, I try to lean toward comfort (wedges, platforms chunky heels), and try to steer clear from stilettos and anything higher than 3inches.
