I recently attended a preview to see jewelry expert Carol Brodie’s Rarities fine jewelry summer collection for HSN. Her designs are all made using genuine gemstones and precious metals and the pricing is amazingly affordable. Carol previously worked for Harry Winston and has connections to manufacturers who are able to provide her with quality pieces at a competitive price. See Carol talk about her collection on HSN, Saturday June 27, 2015 from 3pm – 6pm.
The Rarities collection also has surprisingly affordable diamond jewelry. Carol told us that she uses micro diamonds because it creates a vintage look that many people love. She also mentioned that micro diamonds are actually more expensive to set than larger diamonds. One of my favorites is the Bridge ring (shown below left) that retails for $199.99.
I received a pair of the Ethiopian Opal and Chalcedony Vermeil Drop Earrings in seafoam, which I can’t wait to wear this summer. It is also available in pink and lavender.
Carol started the brand because she’s an avid jewelry collector and she hopes that other jewelry lovers can buy pieces made from genuine gems and metals at an affordable price.
