Designer Malan Breton held his menswear collection fashion show at the Taiwan Economic & Cultural Organization (TECO) near Bryant Park in New York at NY Men’s Fashion Week last month. The color palette was blue and white, with metallic copper, a tribute to the traditional Hakka Blue Shirt of Taiwan, the country where Malan was born. The gorgeous patterns transformed suits, hoodies and shirts into works of art. I’ve followed Malan through the years and this was one of my favorite seasons. Edgy and wearable, without trying to be cool, this collection was memorable in many ways.
