One of the highlights of my holiday season is visiting the Holiday Show House, a beautiful show house held in New York City (2 East 63rd Street) to benefit a breast cancer organization. Iris Dankner founded the show seven years ago to raise breast cancer awareness in the design industry. The group of designers participating in the Holiday Show House are so talented and creative. I could spend hours perusing the different art work, furniture, and antiques that are used in the decor.
Upon entering the showhouse, the immediate right is an “AllHallow’s Eve” themed Ladies Lounge designed by Jenny Dina Kirschner. I was highly amused by the quirky painting of Mao as one of the village people by NYC artist Tom Sanford.
Ally Coulter luxurious and warm Constellation Celebration room features Fendi Casa furnishings.
Bjorn Bjornsson Winter Wonderland themed living room was bright and whimsical.
Another favorite rooms was the “Mother’s Day” room by Antonio Buzzetta, which features abstract and fashion influenced paintings by artist Bradley Theodore.
