Italy is one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited and I was so fortunate to have been invited to visit the Gran Hotel Villa Serbelloni, one of the oldest and most elegant hotels in the Lake Como area and the only 5 star deluxe hotel in Bellagio. My stay there was like a wonderful dream – one that I will never forget! Take a peek at my room below and the amazing meals that I had at the hotel. I also dined at the fabulous Bellagio Mistral restaurant, a Michelin star restaurant headed by Chef Ettore Bocchia, who is famous for his spectacular molecular cooking.

I loved my beautiful jewel box of a room with the breathtaking view of Lake Como, the mountains and the pool. Just around the corner from my room, was the JFK Suite and the Sir Winston Churchill Suite, where they stay both stayed!
At the lounge downstairs, I enjoyed some live music, a refreshing Aperol spritz and Italian small bites.
I decided to get a light lunch so I chose the octopus salad, so fresh and delicious!
Of course there’s always room for dessert, crème brûlée!
Lunch the following day at Gran Hotel Villa Serbelloni
The pasta was freshly prepared and sauced in front of me and garnished with basil plucked straight from the plant – my mouth is watering thinking about this!
Dinner at Mistral – Molecular cooking at its finest
And the grand finale! Hand stirred nitrogen frozen vanilla ice cream with peach, almonds, and rasberry sauce. The ice cream was extra creamy and delectable.
Thank you Gran Hotel Villa Serbelloni for your outstanding hospitality and service. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone who enjoys staying at a unique and historical space with an exceptional dining experience.
